Major Initiatives

Administration

Integrated Services Renewal

Excellent universities require administrative services that are aligned to support and facilitate their mission. At USask, we have created the Integrated Services Renewal (ISR) Program to effectively leverage our processes, data, people, and technology as we look to the future. We want to determine how to most efficiently support the university’s interconnected needs for student, finance, human resources, procurement, and other services.

IT Security

The University of Saskatchewan is introducing new IT security standards that will be applied to university computers. These new standards are being put in place to help reduce the risk of cyber attacks and protect the information of the institution and members of the university community.

Wellness

People and Resources and the Teaching, Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) portfolio recognize the importance of working together to shift the university towards a more comprehensive, integrated and sustainable approach to wellness by creating a system to draw together expertise from colleges and units across the university to support a healthy campus environment.

Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Businesses

USask is committed to a future where the university's direct business relationships with Indigenous suppliers are representative of the Indigenous population in Saskatchewan.
