Purpose and Goals
The goal of the development office is not simply to raise money, but to build a community of support needed to sustain and expand USask’s mission, vision and values. It centers on building meaningful, long-term relationships with individuals, corporations, foundations, and community partners.
Development seeks to:
- Secure diverse revenue streams (individual, corporate, foundation, and government support).
- Strengthen donor relationships through meaningful engagement and stewardship.
- Communicate the organization’s impact in a way that inspires continued and increased investment.
- Foster a culture of philanthropy across campus and community.
- Ensure financial sustainability that aligns with the organization’s strategic priorities.
The office ensures that USask can continue to deliver high quality programs, deepen community impact and build a sustainable future through diversified funding and engaged supporters.
