Profile Creation Steps

These steps are only for students outside of normal admission process (e.g. Extended Learning, College of Medicine, Western College of Veterinary Medicine) external contractors, or employees from affiliated unit.

  1. Go to Profile Creation

  2. Select "Email"

  3. Type in a valid email in the Email Address text box

  4. Click Submit.

  5. Fill out the following:
    • First name 
    • Preferred name - This can be blank if you do not have one
    • Last name
    • Title
    • Verification code - Check your email for the code and then copy and paste it into the text box

  6. Click Create Account.

  7. You will be taken to the "Update Recovery Options" page. You can add optional recovery options besides your email such as a mobile number and security questions.

  8. Once done, click Save Changes.

  9. You will then have to create a password following the guidelines given.
     
  10. Once done creating a password, click Reset Password.

  11. You will then be sent an email containing your username (called an NSID)
    • The username is three letters followed by three numbers (e.g. abc123)

  12. Use the new NSID username and password to log into your account.
