IT Stewardship is the management of information technology decision-making by the clients and users of the technology. This process allows for the increased clarity and transparency into IT strategies and the prioritization of initiatives.
Enterprise Architecture
Enterprise architecture provides a holistic view of the processes, data, application systems and technology infrastructure that exists within USask to provides strategic context for planning the evolution of institutional information systems into an integrated and responsive environment.
Data Governance Framework
The Data Governance Framework identifies designated roles within the university that have specific decision-making accountabilities regarding institutional data, as well as defines the roles and accountabilities for data stewardship and management in support of the Data Management Policy.
Data Classifications
The Data Classifications categorizes institutional data based on its sensitivity to help the university community identify, understand, manage, and use university data appropriately.
Guidelines
Data Handling and Storage Guidelines help the university community know which services are preferred for storing and sharing university data.
