The Vice-Provost leads the strategic priorities project that contributes significantly and measurably to advancing our university’s teaching and research priorities and aspirations. The vision is of opportunity, optimal research and teaching conditions, and exceptional success by those at the university. The strategic priorities project is vital to achieving our sustainable future and our bold ambition to be the university the world needs.

Vince has been a respected faculty member and teacher of Management and Marketing in Edwards since 2012. He has held a Grandey Scholar position for five years at Edwards and has multiple journal publications, case publications, conference presentations, invited lectures and reviews.
His research has focused on the cross-section of strategy and governance in non-profits, for-profits, credit unions and Indigenous organizations. Most recently, he has focused on how boards address the challenge of accountability in non-profits. As a teacher, Vince has received several awards for teaching excellence.
His administrative work includes a current appointment as Department Head for the Management and Marketing Department at Edwards. He held a previous appointment in the Provost's office as the strategic project advisor and support. Vince was also the founding director of the Edwards Experiential Learning Initiative (EELI), which seeks to develop, support, and promote experiential learning for Edwards. Vince has also completed extensive work in governance at our university, including chairing the Teaching Learning and Academic Resources Committee (TLARC) for the past three years. He is also currently the vice-chair of the Planning and Priorities Committee.
In 2018, and he led two projects to recommend reforms to the USask Board of Governors. The recommendation focused on changes to committee structures, bylaws, information flow and the University Act.
