The recruitment and review of senior leadership positions at the University of Saskatchewan is guided by Search and Review Procedures for Senior Administrators approved by the board of governors.

Currently, the University of Saskatchewan is recruiting for the following leadership positions that report to the provost and vice-president academic:

Appointment Announcements

Dr. Martha Smith has been appointed as interim Executive Director, Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy for a one-year term, beginning July 1, 2026 up to June 30, 2027.

Doug Surtees has been appointed as interim Dean, College of Law, beginning July 1, 2026 and up to December 31, 2026, or until a new dean is appointed.

Dr. Ed. Krol has been appointed as interim Dean, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, beginning July 1, 2026 and up to December 31, 2026, or until a new dean is appointed.
