Reports to Council

For each meeting of University Council, the provost and vice-president academic provides a written report and a verbal report. Provost Reports to Council can be found in monthly agendas and highlights of the provost's verbal reports can be found in Council meeting minutes.

Deans' Council

Deans' council discusses a variety of academic and administrative issues and shares information on many topics affecting the institution.

Tuition Advisory Committee

In the spring of 2021, a working group of administrative and student leaders came together to develop a series of recommendations to build a robust, enhanced, engaged, and transparent annual tuition consultation process at USask.

Fee Review Committee

The Fee Review Committee (FRC) oversees the administrative process of reviewing and recommending for approval to the Budget Comittee.

Academic Program Review

The regular review of academic programs is a priority for assessment at USask.

Strategic Plans

Based on three strong commitments and 12 courageous goals, the University Plan is a forward-thinking, strategic document that guides our university’s aspirations to 2025. In the summer of 2018, the Indigenous community gifted a name to the plan—nīkānītān manācihitowinihk in Cree and ni manachīhitoonaan in Michif—which translates as “Let us lead with respect.”

The Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic is committed to tracking our progress against the five areas of impact to which we aspire: Transformative Decolonization Leading to Reconciliation, Productive Collaboration, Meaningful Impact, Distinguished Learners, and Global Recognition.

The provost's portfolio has developed supporting plans that provide direction to achieving the ambitions, commitments and goals of the University Plan 2025.
